Theo Buckingham has most recently been on tour with Gorgeous George. He also co-wrote the album Fires in the park whilst previously being a member of the band Benin City. Theo also performes regularly with his father Mark Buckingham in various projects and a range of other hugely talented performers. He currently holds a local endorsement from Sonor Drums and he is a Supported Artist at Aquarian Drum Heads.

Chris said sometime ago, 'the only way to get to play with you guys is to you gigs' which is what he did and now he is the witty member of the band on percussion.

The Bass Man

Tom has been performing since the age of 12 and is equally happy on the guitar or bass. After university, Tom recorded and produced sounds for toys (Fisher-Price) before moving to internet-start-up Digimpro/Yourspins, producing and composing user remix-able songs on the web. Whilst there he attended midem as an exhibitor and worked on several high profile remixes including; Robbie Williams; Max Sedgley; and The Young Knives. He left the company in 2007 to further his studies in music, and is currently teaching in South West London.


Volker Janssen


Volker is our  keyboard player.

Volker has played with various artists including David A. Stewart, Aztec Camera, Thomas Dolby, Paul Young, David Gilmour, Roger Daltrey and Dexy's Midnight Runners. As part of the ambient/electronic duo "Friction" he has released two albums; "Return To Calm" and Medication". Friction have also contributed tracks to well known compilations like Cafe Del Mar Volume 12 and the Undiscoverd Ibiza series. 


Kevin Leo

.....5 Solo Albums, 6 Ep's 23 singles, All on quirky Soul Records and the track 'Blown Away' added to compilation 'Luxury Soul' released by the Expansions Label 

At 17 he appeared singing solo on Opportunity Knocks hosted by Les Dawson and was a national heat winner. 

This lead to him supporting on many live show's for comedian Michael Barrymore. 

He then attended LSC a theatre college , taking the lead role in Showboat The Musical in his first year. 

Whilst there studing intensely music technology and theory. At this time Kevin appeared alongside acts such as Dionne Warwick, 

Kool and the Gang, Three Degrees, Joe Longthorn, Meat Loaf and M-People and recently Imaani , Nina Ferro, Neo, Lionel Richie 


Dave Clayton


Dave came to Simply Red on the Home album. He was a band mem­ber of ABC for three years and has also toured with George Michael, Marc Almond and Jason Donovan to name a few.

He has recor­ded with the likes of U2, Bob Mar­ley, Sinead O’Connor, Depeche Mode, Paul McCart­ney, George Michael/Elton John, The Beloved and Rob­bie Williams.

Wear­ing his pro­du­cer hat he has worked with Take That (Babe), The Human League, Kraft­werk, Les Mck­eown and Lenny Henry. He also has writ­ing cred­its for Sinead O’Connor, Bomb the Bass, Michael Hutchence and ABC. Dave’s per­sonal pro­jects revolve around Pressure Zone.

Dave is currently on tour with Mick Hucknall. Volker is in the keys hotseat.


Vic Bynoe





Vic is a very experienced and dynamic singer with a voice ranging from old school R&B to Pop.

As well as live and recording sessions, Vic had a lead role in the stage production ‘Big Time’ at the Talk Of London, Drury Lane.

In his career Vic has toured worldwide and has performed with numerous artists including, Paul Young, Sir Bob Geldof, Eric Clapton, Jocelyn Brown, Rick Asley, Alexander O’Neal and the late great James Brown. Vic also joined The Drifters in 2002 as a vocal member and performed worldwide for 6 years.


Vic is touring with a variety of bands, but will always perform with GW when he can.


The incredible Kevin Leo And Mikie Blak will be doing there best to fill Vic's shoes!
